Freelance Videographer & Photographer

We're looking for a creative, agile, and sharp-eyed Freelance Videographer & Photographer based in the GTA to shoot high-impact visual assets directly on-site at our clients' locations — nail salons, spas, and restaurants across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

On-site Visual Production — Travel to client locations (Nail salons, Spas, Restaurants, etc.) across the GTA to execute professional photo and video shoots.

Short-Form Video Excellence — Shoot engaging, cinematic, and high-converting raw video assets tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts (UGC-style, trending hooks, transitions, product close-ups, ambient vibes).

Commercial Photography — Capture high-quality lifestyle, product, team, and interior photos for premium social media grids, website design, and Local SEO.

Creative Collaboration — Work closely with Wizy's Ontario-based team to understand project briefs, shot lists, and brand identity guidelines for each client.

Asset Management — Organize and upload raw footage and high-res imagery to our shared cloud system promptly after each shoot for seamless handoff to our editing team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • ✦Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for on-site travel (Vaughan, Mississauga, Toronto, Markham, Brampton).
  • ✦Must own professional camera gear (DSLR, Mirrorless, or top-tier mobile like iPhone 15 Pro/16 Pro with gimbals/stabilizers and external audio/lighting).
  • ✦Proven portfolio in lifestyle, food/F&B, commercial interior, or beauty/salon videography and photography.
  • ✦Deep understanding of visual storytelling and social media aesthetics — knowing what stops the scroll in the first 3 seconds.
  • ✦Strong English communication skills. Vietnamese proficiency is a massive asset for direct client interaction.
  • ✦Punctual, proactive, organized, and capable of making clients feel comfortable in front of the camera.
