Fastboy vs Wizy: A 20,000-Client US Agency at a Quarter of the Price

Short answer: Fastboy is roughly 4x cheaper than Wizy for marketing services, and for a lot of salons that makes it the right choice. Their all-in-one bundle is $349 USD/month (about $482 CAD); Wizy's Stack is $1,997 CAD. The difference isn't about who's better — it's that Fastboy sells AI-driven software that runs on autopilot, while Wizy sends real people to your salon. Two business models, two price points.

My last two articles compared WizySalon to Jane App and BelleBiz — both software. This one is different, because Fastboy isn't only software: it's a full marketing agency plus a software suite. Which makes them a competitor to Wizy and WizySalon at the same time.

And I'll admit up front: this was the hardest of the three to write. Fastboy is much bigger than us, much older, and much cheaper.

Same disclosure as always: Wizy is my company. Read accordingly.

Who is Fastboy?

Fastboy Marketing is based in Houston, Texas. From their own about page:

  • •Founded in 2010 by Vuong Pham, a Vietnamese-American.
  • •Their first clients were nail salons in Houston. Same industry, same community.
  • •Today: 20,000+ clients, 200+ staff, four continents.
  • •GoCheckin has over 30 million members.
  • •They've served Canada since 2018. Not US-only.
  • •Google Partner, Facebook Marketing Partner, Inc. 5000 listed.

Read those lines carefully. This is not some distant American firm that doesn't understand nail salons. This is a Vietnamese founder who built a company out of nail salons over 15 years, and who was operating in Canada before Wizy existed.

If anyone tells you "American agencies don't understand Vietnamese nail salons," that line does not apply to Fastboy.

One thing to ask: the Fastboy website is English-only and they never advertise Vietnamese-language service. But the founder is Vietnamese-American and their first clients were nail salons — so they may well have Vietnamese support and simply not put it on the site. Ask them directly rather than assuming.

Fastboy's pricing — detailed and cheap

They publish prices openly, which I respect. All figures in USD:

Main bundle:

PlanPriceIncludes
AI Marketing 2026$349/mo (list $636)AI Social, social tools, Website & SEO, Go Check In Standard, Go Booking Deluxe

Prepay 12 months: $4,188, free setup (worth $599), plus 2–3 bonus months.

À la carte:

ServiceUSD
SEO + GEO$79 / $149 / $249 per month
Google Maps$300 one-time setup + $99/mo SEO
AI Social Media$49 / $199 / $399 per month
Ads management fee$49 / $99 / 15% of budget
Website$599 (1 yr) or $899 (3 yr), one-time
Go POS$50/mo
Go Booking$20/mo
Go Check In$59/mo
Digital Signage$500 one-time
Gift CardComing Soon — not available

Ad management fees exclude the ad budget you pay Google/Meta directly.

Convert properly: USD is not CAD

This is the step people skip. Fastboy bills in US dollars; Wizy bills in Canadian dollars.

On 2026-09-04, 1 USD ≈ 1.38 CAD. So:

FastboyUSD≈ CAD
Bundle$349~$482
Go Check In$59~$81
Go POS + Go Booking$70~$97
Google Maps SEO$99~$137
AI Social (Growth)$199~$275
Website (1 yr)$599~$827

Wizy's prices are already CAD, but exclude 13% HST. The Stack at $1,997 becomes $2,257 with HST. Do ask Fastboy whether they charge GST/HST on Canadian invoices — I couldn't find that on their site.

Head to head, same line items

Check-in / retention~$81/mo$200 setup + $200–400/mo

The table is clear: Fastboy is cheaper on nearly every line. I'm not going to dance around that.

There is exactly one line where Wizy is cheaper: the salon software. WizySalon is $59 CAD for unlimited technicians versus roughly $97 CAD for Go POS + Go Booking. Plus: WizySalon's gift cards ship today, while Fastboy's Gift Card still says "Coming Soon."

Why a 4x gap? Let's use their own numbers

This is the most important section in the article. The price gap isn't greed on either side — it's two different business models, and Fastboy's own published figures show it.

Fastboy states: 20,000 clients, 200 staff.

Divide it out: 100 clients per staff member.

Can one person drive out and film 100 salons a month? No. Can one person sit down with 100 owners a month? No.

That number isn't wrong — it just shows Fastboy is an AI-powered software company, not an agency that dispatches people. They describe the product themselves as "Autopilot content for every platform." That's something AI genuinely does well, at scale, cheaply.

Wizy does the opposite: a crew comes to your salon and films, an editing team does post, and a person in Ontario reports to you monthly in Vietnamese. That can't be sold at $482/month, because a single shoot day costs more than that.

Nobody is cheating anyone here. The real question is: does your salon need tools, or does it need people?

Four cases where I'd tell you to pick Fastboy

1. Your marketing budget is under $500 CAD/month. At that level Wizy can only sell you one single service. Fastboy sells you a whole bundle. Fastboy wins outright — don't force a small budget into a done-for-you agency.

2. You can shoot your own content and enjoy doing it. If you or someone in the family can film on a phone and cut a clip, and you just want AI tools for scheduling and captions, Fastboy is exactly right. Paying Wizy to do what you'd happily do yourself is waste.

3. You want the largest, most proven vendor. 15 years, 20,000 clients, Google Partner, Inc. 5000. We have none of that and won't for years. If "pick the proven one" is your criterion, Fastboy is the correct answer.

4. You need digital signage. Fastboy sells it at $500 one-time. Wizy doesn't offer it at all.

Four cases where Wizy fits better

1. You need someone to physically come and film. Real photos and video of your salon, your techs, your clients — not stock or AI images. Wizy has staff in Ontario who show up. Fastboy runs remotely with AI, and they're open about that.

2. You need to work in Vietnamese. Wizy states Vietnamese support, with a person in Ontario and monthly reporting in Vietnamese. Fastboy's site is English-only — though the founder is Vietnamese-American, so ask them.

3. Your salon is in Ontario and you need local rules understood. 13% HST, Ontario's ban on expiry dates for purchased gift cards, Eastern time, Canadian phone numbers. Fastboy has had Canadian clients since 2018 so they certainly know this — but the team and office are in Houston.

4. You want a named person accountable, not a ticket. At 100 clients per staff member, it's hard for anyone to remember your salon's name. This is a natural advantage of being small, and one I'd lose if Wizy grew.

Three things to do now

Step 1 — Work out your real monthly marketing budget. If it's under $500 CAD, you can stop reading: go to fastboy.com. Don't call Wizy; we can't help you well at that level.

Step 2 — If it's above $500, ask both companies one question: "Who films content at my salon, and how often?" That single question separates the two models instantly. Neither answer is wrong — only right or wrong for your salon.

Step 3 — Ask Fastboy three things before signing: Do Canadian invoices include GST/HST? Is Vietnamese-language support available? When does Gift Card ship? Those three answers matter a lot for an Ontario salon.

One last honest word

I've just written a long article saying a competitor is 4x cheaper than us, 15 years more established, and in many cases the better choice.

I wrote it for two reasons. First, you'd find those numbers yourself — they're published openly on their site. Second, if I sold The Stack to a salon with $400/month for marketing, that salon would quit in three months and I'd lose my reputation in the community — and in the Vietnamese community in Ontario, once that's gone it's gone.

Wizy doesn't compete on price. We can't beat Fastboy on price and we're not going to try. We sell something else: real people, in Ontario, speaking Vietnamese, showing up at your salon. If that's not what you need, we're not the right choice — and I'd rather say so here than have you discover it after paying.

If you'd like me to look at your actual numbers — budget, what you're doing now, what's missing — message us. Fifteen minutes, free. If Fastboy suits you better, I'll say so as plainly as I did above.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Fastboy Marketing cost per month?+

Fastboy's AI Marketing 2026 bundle is $349 USD/month (list price $636), roughly $482 CAD at the 1.38 rate on 2026-09-04. À la carte: SEO $79–249, AI Social $49–399, Go Check In $59, Go POS $50, Go Booking $20 — all USD per month. Convert to CAD and ask whether they charge GST/HST on Canadian invoices.

Why is Fastboy 4x cheaper than Wizy?+

Because they're different models. Fastboy publishes 20,000 clients and 200 staff — that's 100 clients per person, a ratio only achievable when software and AI do most of the work. Wizy sends a crew to film on site and assigns a person to report monthly, which costs far more in labour. Neither is mispriced; the question is whether your salon needs tools or people.

Does Fastboy serve clients in Canada?+

Yes. According to Fastboy's about page they began serving clients in Canada and Australia in 2018, and today have clients across the US, Canada, Australia and Europe. That said, the team and office are in Houston, Texas, and prices are listed in USD.

Does Fastboy offer gift cards for nail salons?+

Not yet. On Fastboy's pricing page the Gift Card line is marked "Coming Soon" — meaning it isn't available. If your salon needs gift cards in time for Christmas or Mother's Day, ask about the timeline before signing.

Which agency should I choose on a small budget?+

If your marketing budget is under roughly $500 CAD a month, Fastboy is clearly the better fit — at that level they sell a full bundle while Wizy can only sell one single service. Wizy is worth considering only if you need real people filming on site, need to work in Vietnamese, or want a named person accountable for results.
