3 iPhone Apps That Put Every Social Message in One Place So You Never Miss a Customer

Yes. Three iPhone apps can put your social messages in one place: Meta Business Suite, Pancake and Beeper. If most of your customers reach you on Facebook and Instagram, install Meta Business Suite first. It is free, made by Facebook itself, and takes about 5 minutes to set up.

This post explains each app in plain words, so you can tell which one fits your shop.

Why do customer messages get missed?

Picture your shop with 5 doors: Facebook, Instagram, Zalo, TikTok and WhatsApp. A customer can ring the bell at any of them. But you only have one person watching, so one door always gets forgotten.

Instagram also splits its inbox into 3 folders: Primary, General and Requests. Messages from people who do not follow your shop land in Requests, the folder almost nobody opens.

And a new customer is almost always someone who does not follow you yet. If a lady asks "how much for a gel set?" and you see it two days later, she has already booked somewhere else.

The 3 apps at a glance

App 1: Meta Business Suite, the one to install first

Meta is the company that owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Meta Business Suite is the app they built for business owners. Think of it as one front desk for all three doors.

Open the app and you see Facebook Page messages, Instagram messages and comments on your posts in a single list. If you have connected a WhatsApp Business number, those messages show up here too. Once you reply, the conversation leaves your to-do list.

The app is free on the App Store and rated 4.7 out of 5 from more than 500,000 ratings. Because it is the official tool, it is stable and will not get your account locked.

You can also set automatic replies. If a customer writes at 11 pm, the app can answer: "We are closed now. We will reply at 9 am tomorrow."

Keep in mind: it only works with a Facebook Page (your shop's page, not your personal profile) and an Instagram business account. It does not gather Zalo or TikTok.

App 2: Pancake, when customers message you on Zalo or TikTok

Pancake is a Vietnamese tool, well known among online sellers back home. It covers more doors: Facebook, Instagram, Zalo, TikTok, WhatsApp, Line, even Shopee and Lazada. It has apps for iPhone and Android.

Its best feature is that several people can reply together. If your shop has two receptionists, Pancake shows who is answering which customer, so two people never reply to the same person.

On price, note that Pancake is not free long term. You get a 14-day trial with every feature, then you choose a plan. The smallest plan (Small) covers 1 page and 3 staff, billed in 6-month terms. Check Pancake's pricing page for the exact amount, because it changes over time.

If your shop only has one Facebook Page and one Instagram, you do not need Pancake yet. Meta Business Suite does that job at no cost.

App 3: Beeper, for your personal phone

Beeper gathers personal chat apps in one place: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, Signal, LinkedIn. The free plan connects one account per network.

It is a good fit when friends, family and partners message you all over the place.

But I do not recommend Beeper for your shop's account. The reason: Beeper signs in to each network on your behalf, a bit like handing your shop keys to someone else to hold. For a business account, where losing the account means losing customers, use the official app.

3 things to do today

Step 1: Install Meta Business Suite. Search for it on the App Store, download it, sign in with your Facebook and pick your shop's Page. Then connect the shop's Instagram by following the prompts in the app.

Step 2: Turn on notifications for Instagram's Requests folder. Open Instagram, go to Settings → Notifications → Messages, find Message requests and switch it on. Menu names can differ slightly between app versions. After this, your phone alerts you when a new customer writes.

Step 3: Let the app notify you on your iPhone. Go to iPhone Settings → Notifications, choose Meta Business Suite, and turn on both sounds and the red number badge.

If customers often message you on Zalo, open a Zalo OA for the shop. Zalo OA is Zalo's business account, much like a Facebook Page. Zalo only offers its official connection for this type of account, so you need an OA to bring Zalo into Pancake.

So which app should you choose?
